Bold Swimwear Trends - Sao Paulo Fashion Week 2015

Sao Paulo fashion week has put Brazilian designers in the global spotlight in Mid-April, and taking centre stage were the labels' funky new beach and swimwear creations.

As might be expected from a nation with one of the most vibrant reputations in the world, rainbow colors and stripes were the order of the day, with the Brazilian penchant for fun, bold beachwear holding strong.

Beauty Queens Walking Through The Valley of Death

The annual Miss Bikini of the Universe beauty pageant has taken a bizarre turn after organizer insist that contestants must put aside their fear of heights as they are mandated to catwalk on a narrow,glass covered mountain footpath in red bikinis and black high heels in a ‘test of their composure’.

One of the contestants, Yang Ningqing said,

‘First of all, it allowed us to become more courageous, and second it allowed us to practice our most fundamental skills,’This catwalk, even though it was a very crude catwalk, allowed us to show off our most beautiful posture.’

Appiah K.A in is publication titled 'The case for Contamination' says "Cultures are made of continuities and changes, and the identity of a society can survive through these changes. Societies without change are not authentic; they are just dead."

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly referred to as Coachella or the Coachella Festival) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, located in the Inland Empire's Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. It was founded by Paul Tollett in 1999 and is organized by Golden voice, a subsidiary of AEG Live. The event features many genres of music, including rock, indie, hip hop, and electronic dance music, as well as art installations and sculptures. Across the grounds, several stages continuously host live music. The main stages are: Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, Gobi Tent, Mojave Tent, and the Sahara Tent; a smaller Oasis Dome was used in 2006 and 2011, while a new Yuma stage was introduced in 2013.
